Wellbeing Workshops are designed to empower staff with insight and tools to make positive changes to enhance their health and wellbeing.

Wellness is a multi-dimensional and holistic, encompassing factors of lifestyle, mental well-being and the environment. It is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential and through these workshops, we equip your employees with the knowledge of how master their behaviour to to do just that.

DEVELOP YOUR WELLBEING ACTION PLAN

We support attendees to build their own wellbeing action plans that will be immediately implementable, but also adaptable so they last. 

This Practical Workshop Covers:

  • LYFE Workplace Wellbeing looks at 8 dimensions of wellbeing and how they benefit our health, happiness and work: Fitness, Nutrition, Recreation, Relaxation, Nature, Mindfulness, Contribution and Relationships.

Attendees will go away with a tangible wellbeing action plan. It will cover:​

  • Your barriers to each area.

  • Your enablers to each area.

  • Tailored, tangible, realistic, and adaptable action points to each area.

  • The benefits these actions will make to YOUR life… essentially your ‘WHY’.

Duration:

  • 1 hour / 2 hour workshops - Regular monthly and quarterly follow-up sessions available.

WELLBEING CHAMPION TRAINING

Wellbeing Champions are employees you can choose to lead wellbeing interventions within your organisation, in line with your internal wellbeing strategy. The Champions can support the delivery of the wellbeing strategy.

The Practical Training Covers:

  • LYFE Workplace Wellbeing looks at 8 dimensions of wellbeing and how they benefit our health, happiness and work: Fitness, Nutrition, Recreation, Relaxation, Nature, Mindfulness, Contribution and Relationships.

  • Wellbeing at Work: Attendees will learn how the eight dimensions of wellbeing impact aspects of work, such as absence, turnover, and presenteeism rates. 

  • Wellbeing Strategy: Attendees will learn about what makes an effective and sustainable wellbeing strategy, as well as how it impacts their workplace. They will also gain knowledge around how to implement an effective wellbeing strategy as a Wellbeing Champion.

  • Understanding Your Colleagues: We know that your colleagues have different barriers, enablers and aims to wellbeing. Together, we’ll look at how attendees can work with their colleagues' unique wellbeing needs when supporting the implementation of their wellbeing strategy.

Duration: 

  • Foundation - 2 days.

  • Advanced - 4 days. The training can be run all in one go or split over time to accommodate attendees' schedules.

HOW TO DEVELOP A WORKPLACE WELLBEING STRATEGY

There is clear evidence to show that developing and implementing a bespoke wellbeing strategy that matches your organisation’s needs not only improves employee health and happiness, but also improves productivity, absence and turnover rates.

This introductory workshop will highlight: How to develop your own company or team specific wellbeing strategy to meet your organisation or team’s unique wellbeing needs.

WELLBEING TRAINING FOR MANAGERS

These are interesting times for everyone and these wellbeing workshops are tailored to match current wellbeing needs. 

The Intro Workshop and Full Training cover:​​

  • The Importance of Wellbeing: We will support managers to understand the importance of enabling their team's wellbeing, as happier and healthier teams perform better, take fewer sick days and are more engaged. LYFE Workplace Wellbeing looks at 8 dimensions of wellbeing and how they benefit our health, happiness and work: Fitness, Nutrition, Recreation, Relaxation, Nature, Mindfulness, Contribution and Relationships.

  • How to Support Your Team's Wellbeing: The interactive session will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills they need to enable their team members to work on their own wellbeing, by taking into account their teams' unique needs.

  • How to Support Your Own Wellbeing: Our expert consultants will also support the managers to understand why it is important to look after their wellbeing too and provide ways to integrate LYFE's eight areas of wellbeing into their life. In the full training course, managers will also be support to develop their own wellbeing action plans.

Duration:

  • Foundation - 1 hour.

  • Full Training - 1 day total (1 full day or 2 half days).

Attendees for Full Training :

  • 4-16 attendees. Attendees from different organisations may attend.

OUR WORKPLACE WELLBEING WORKSHOPS

IMPROVE & SUSTAIN: WELLBEING WHEN RETURNING TO WORK POST-LOCKDOWN

 It is an uncertain time at the moment, with many just starting to get used to working from home and the new pace of life. Beginning to work back in the office or place of work can be a significant shift for your team, again. This can therefore impact how they go about looking after their wellbeing.

This workshop will:

  • Support attendees to develop/update their wellbeing action plans, to integrate mental health, physical activity, sleep and nutrition into their lives - leading to happier, healthier and more productive employees. 

  • We can also support managers on how to enable their team to integrate wellbeing into their lives at work and at home.

Duration:

  • 1 hour / 2 hour versions.

IMPROVE & SUSTAIN: PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Physical activity has incredible benefits to our work, physical health and mental health. Organisations that have more physically active employees see improved productivity, engagement, absence rates and up to an ROI of £34 for every £1 according to Sport England funded Greater Sport. The UK’s Chief Medical Officer highlighted that even a few minutes of physical activity can bring benefits to our lives. 

This workshops will:

  • Highlight the science behind how physical activity improves our health and work.

  • Cover what counts as physical activity (hint - it’s not just the gym, HIIT classes or running!).  

  • Provide actionable tips on how to sustainably integrate physical activity and reduce sedentary behaviour in your life.

Duration:

  • 1 hour / and 2 hour versions.

IMPROVE & SUSTAIN: HEALTHY NUTRITION

Are you aware of how nutrition impacts your work, mood, energy and concentration levels as well as your physical and mental health? There are many ways to approach supporting your nutrition, are you struggling to know where to start? 

This workshop will:

  • Highlight the science behind how and why healthy eating and drinking impacts our overall wellbeing and work.

  • Provide tips and resources on how to ensure you can sustainably maintain healthy nutrition that works for you - as we all have different nutritional needs.

Duration:

  • 1 hour.

IMPROVE & SUSTAIN: SLEEP RECOVERY

When was the last time you woke up feeling rested? Do you feel a difference to how you feel and work when you are rested?

Sleep was the original theme for Mental Health Awareness Week 2020, as it not only significantly impacts our physical health, but also impacts our mental health. Sleep also costs UK organisations nearly as much as mental health does annually!

This workshop will cover:

  • The science behind why sleep is so important for our overall health and work.

  • How to support yourself to get enough quality sleep.

  • How to support others to prevent sleep deprivation and recover from it.

Duration:

  • 1 hour.
